Learning more about the Electoral College is a topic that WCGA members identified back at our Annual Meeting in May. We’re excited to announce that we’ll be bringing in speakers from LWV US to talk to use about this important and interesting topic!
We are planning for this program to answer questions such as:
1. Why do we have the Electoral College?
2. What are common myths and facts about the Electoral College?
3. What is the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact (NPVIC)?
4. Go “inside LWV” – What are LWV’s positions and priorities on the Electoral College and popular vote? And, how have these changed over time?
This program is for members only since part of our objective in hosting this program is to understand League positions and processes.
LWV MN will co-host this program with WCGA to offer this information to members across the state.
