Please join the Woodbury Cottage Grove Area League of Women Voters for a zoom webinar “School Board 101” and learn about the role of the school board before the upcoming candidate forums and the Nov. 2 election. “We see there is misunderstanding in the community about what the school board does (and does not do),” said Andrea Hable, Vice President, LWV Woodbury, Cottage Grove Area. “So, we thought we would give voters an opportunity to learn about the scope of the board.”
You will hear from a panel of current school board members, who are not up for election or not running for reelection this fall. Tracy Brunette, Simi Patnaik and Carlo Montgomery have agreed to be on the panel.
