* The Woodbury City Council candidates will be divided into two groups to allow for appropriate social distancing.
Questions – Questions can be submitted in advance via the local league website https://www.lwvwcg.org or by email to lwvwcg.forums@gmail.com. All questions are screened by a neutral committee for appropriateness, applicability and relevance. They remain the property of the league and the identity of the submitter is confidential. Viewers of the live broadcasts will also have the opportunity to submit questions via text or call-in to the screeners.
Recording and Broadcasting – South Washington County Telecommunications Commission (SWCTC) will provide a live broadcast on government access Channel 18 (Comcast) and Channel 8542 (CenturyLink) and SWCTC.org will feature the live webstream. However, in the event of multiple sessions, there will be a delayed broadcast to avoid any advantage for the later sessions. All forums will be rebroadcast and archived on the SWCTC channels and website leading up to Election Day. Candidates will be asked to sign a consent for the broadcast and recording during check-in before the forum. Candidates can expect that viewers may also record the event.
Moderator for this Forum – Liz Nordling of LWV White Bear Lake Area will moderate the forum, explain the procedures and introduce the candidates.
